Ingredients

  • 50 ml Havana Club 3yr
  • 125 ml Hot cider
  • part Pinch cinnamon
  • 1 dash vanilla essence
  • part Pinch Nutmeg
  • part B/spoon Dark brown Muscovado sugar
  • part 10g soft French (President) butter

Method

Mix together the sugar, vanilla, butter and cinnamon in a copper or glass mug. Add the rum and mix. Add the hot cider, grate nutmeg on top and stir with a cinnamon stick”.

*This drink is traditionally heated with a red hot poker.
